Project Description

The Jordan National Museum serves as a captivating narrative of the country’s rich history, with its storytelling beginning at the ceremonial plaza. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by two distinct masses connected by a bridge at the first level, providing additional entrances and a platform for outdoor events.

Innovative design elements, such as inclined stone walls, emulate the geological strata of Amman’s carved mountains, invoking a sense of mystery and curiosity. These walls gradually evolve, becoming more chiseled as they ascend, symbolizing the progression of craftsmanship and culminating in a striking glass cube at the apex.

Strategically situated to revitalize the historic area, the museum creates a cultural urban pause amidst the bustling surroundings. Its dynamic design encourages visitors to engage with Jordanian history in a lively and contextualized setting.
