Project Description

The Al-Batinah Coastal Road stretches 240km along the northern coast of Oman, extending to the border of Khatmat Malaha. As a vital transportation artery, the road features four lanes and traverses through built-up areas, past the naval base, and other nationally significant areas. The project encompasses the construction of 100km of link roads to connect with the existing highway, incorporating a dual carriageway and two-lane service roads on both sides. Key infrastructure includes full cloverleaf interchanges at the start and end points, while other junctions are comprised of roundabouts or flyovers. Additionally, the road incorporates numerous wadi bridges and culverts, sea protection works, street lighting, and road furniture to ensure safety and functionality.
