TURKMENISTAN RAILWAY

The Turkmenistan Railway project involved the design review and construction supervision for a strategic railway line spanning from Bereket to Etrek, connecting Turkmenistan and Iran. Encompassing a total distance of 256.6 kilometers, with an additional 69.1 kilometers of auxiliary lines, this ambitious endeavor included the establishment of nine stations, a locomotive transfer facility, two maintenance depots, procurement of locomotives, and construction of essential railway equipment.

Primarily intended to facilitate transit traffic, transportation of oil, and agricultural produce, the railway line significantly amplifies rail capacity, elevating traffic from 3 million to 10 million tonnes annually, with potential expansion to accommodate up to 20 million tonnes. Beyond its logistical impact, the project contributes to the socioeconomic development, stability, and security of the destinations it interconnects.
