SAFEWAY & COMMODORE INTERSECTIONS

The Safeway and Commodore Intersections project in Amman involved two stages of geometric and structural design services. Initially, an extensive study and evaluation of the existing conditions were conducted to devise alternative solutions for the two problematic at-grade intersections. Subsequently, the design and contract documents were completed for the approved alternative. The new design incorporates a multi-span bridge featuring 12 spans, an underpass, surface drainage system, retaining walls, and comprehensive technical calculations aimed at enhancing road user safety, minimizing traffic congestion, and improving travel times in and around Amman.Transportation Planning & Design
