Project Description

The government’s strategic plan aimed to reform and restructure the civil aviation sector to transform it into a regional financial, trade, and transport hub with state-of-the-art facilities. Consolidated Consultants Group (CCG) collaborated with British consulting firm WSP to provide expert consulting engineering services for the rehabilitation and expansion of Queen Alia International Airport. This extensive project included the construction of a new terminal.

As a result, the airport has evolved into a world-class hub for Amman City and a premier gateway to the Middle East. It is now capable of handling 9 million passengers annually in Phase 1, with capacity increasing to 12 million passengers annually in Phase 2.
