KILAMBA KIAXI SOCIAL HOUSING

The Kilamba Kiaxi Social Housing development stands as a monumental turnkey project, encompassing the design, execution, completion, and remedying of eight communities.

Featuring a total of 710 buildings ranging from 4 to 18 floors, the project boasts a staggering 20,002 apartments. Additionally, the development includes essential public infrastructure such as 246 shops, 24 kindergartens, 17 schools, 2 subway stations, 1 sewage treatment plant, 1 water treatment plant, as well as all roads and municipal systems.

The success of phase 1 of the project garnered high praise from the Angolan President, José Eduardo dos Santos, who hailed it as “the brightest pearl on the crown of Angolan reconstruction and the model for all social housing projects in Africa.”
