Project Description

The District Park & Youth Hub project epitomizes Sheikh Zayed’s vision for sustainable development in the UAE. Embracing this ethos, the design integrates innovative features to ensure environmental stewardship and cultural resonance.

Central to the project’s sustainability is the utilization of the Aflaj irrigation system, which enables the prudent use of water resources in the region’s arid desert landscape. This reflects a commitment to harnessing traditional techniques for contemporary needs.

The park’s design pays homage to the UAE’s heritage, with its form evoking the imagery of a pearl splitting to connect with the external environment. Moreover, the landscaped areas are adorned with elements of the country’s native flora, further enriching the cultural narrative woven into the project’s fabric.
