Project Description
The Al Qassim housing project is a significant initiative aimed at addressing the housing shortage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, intending to deliver up to 500,000 affordable homes across 11 locations. CCG contributed by developing three master plan alternatives, considering factors such as security, social cohesion, cultural preservation, and sustainability. The design prioritized climate sensitivity and self-efficient land use, aiming to maximize energy efficiency and accommodate the community’s future growth while maintaining economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
