Project Description

The Dead Sea Parkway serves as a crucial connection between the Dead Sea and Ma’in Springs, holding the distinction of being the lowest road in the world. Its design thoughtfully incorporates measures to conserve the surrounding environment.

Spanning 11.6 kilometers, the road initially heads east before veering southeast and ascending a challenging 5.5-kilometer mountainous stretch, with an elevation change of over 500 meters. The route crosses wadis, navigates through rolling terrain, and includes two bridges and intersections.

Renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views, the parkway is highly recommended by the Lonely Planet guidebook and was featured as the backdrop for Red Bull’s wingsuit flying jump video, ‘Operation Dead Sea.’ This project’s success earned CCG the prestigious ‘Best Consultant of the Year 2003’ award.
